No selling. No ads. No sign-up. No audio streaming. Work offline. Less than 15KB
YouTube and Spotify can use gigabytes of data over long sessions. Many meditation apps
are bloated with courses, subscriptions, ads, tracking, or streamed audio.
This app is built differently: a tiny offline meditation tool powered by a custom
6,000+ line
algorithmic audio generator.
I built Lofre out of frustration. I couldn't find the perfect meditation app:
something straightforward, quiet, lightweight and free from bullshit routine juggling,
not like you Endel. I don't believe an app needs to tell you which routine is "the
best." Meditation is personal. We build our own routines by ourselves, in our own way.
A meditation app should be
less distracting
, not another place to cross sell users. Lofre is made to stay out of the way,
including the ability to play underneath your main device audio with its own volume
control, so you can adjust the meditation layer without changing the audio you use for
work or even scrolling TikTok.
I commit to never taking profit from Lofre. I built it to be so lightweight that even
10 million active users would cost me around $5 monthly. That means there is no reason
to sell, track, ads, or lock anything behind subscriptions. Share it with anyone. Use
it however it helps.
